The ‘El Alfarero - Student Centre’ project is committed to supporting the churches of Sucre, by providing a variety of different courses to help train local Christians to better help people in need.

In order to do this, the El Alfarero offers conferences related to the problems that people face. Conferences have included the subjects of Domestic Violence, Dealing with Abuse, ´Extreme Love´, related to issues do with love, relationships and sex,  'Captivating' related to understanding the hearts of men and women.

There is a weekly course to train biblical counsellors and there is a weekly course to train pregnancy crisis counsellors.
